group which hosts monthly events. Events encompass a range of activities including crafts, expert
panels, visiting speakers, panels of lay communal
members and celebratory gatherings. The program
strengthens a community of women who support
each other through life’s challenges and celebrations.

Rosh Chodesh Society is a monthly social gathering for women. It gives women the opportunity
to celebrate Rosh Chodesh with our community by learning and exploring diverse topics
and practical application for women today. The
gatherings include in-depth learning and discussions, delicious refreshments and friendship.
Rosh Chodesh Society is part of the Peltz Center for Jewish Life.

NCJW’s Milwaukee Section is part of a national
organization that has been at the forefront of social
change for over 125 years. Inspired by Jewish
values, NCJW takes a progressive stance on issues
such as fair elections, child welfare, women’s
rights, reproductive justice and equal access to
health care. Locally, NCJW-MKE is a gateway for
our community to engage in advocacy, outreach,
community service, and social justice. As a 100%
volunteer-run section, we welcome people of
diverse backgrounds who want to make positive
change at the local, national and global level.

Women’s Philanthropy of the Milwaukee Jewish
Federation brings together women of all ages
from throughout the community to further the
Federation’s core mission: to take care of the
needs of the Jewish community and to build a
vibrant Jewish future in Milwaukee, in Israel, and
around the world. Women are encouraged to get
involved by helping with the Federation’s annual
campaign, volunteering on committees, planning
and attending social and educational events, and
connecting with engaged Jewish women from
across the nation through missions and leadership
opportunities offered by the Milwaukee Jewish
Federation and National Women’s Philanthropy
of the Jewish Federations of North America.
