The Mitzvah Corps is a group of dedicated youth volunteers who give several thousands of hours of service
annually. Children participate in a wide variety of “Mitzvah
Missions” including holiday activities, grocery shopping,
and outings — nurturing idealism, compassion and respect
while shaping our community’s future leaders.

Young Jewish Professionals of Madison (YJP) brings
together young adults in the greater Madison area,
i.e., namely young couples, University of Wisconsin
graduate students and professionals ages 25-35.
YJP Madison is known to be a warm, inviting environment

Jewish professionals in an informal, educational and social
setting. We provide social, educational, recreational and

Young Jewish Professionals of Milwaukee (YJP) serves as a hub
of Jewish life for any young Jew that moves. YJP provides an
authentic and uplifting Jewish experience for the hundreds of
young Jews living and working in the greater Milwaukee area.

MAJOR is an organization which believes in building positive
Jewish identity from within. Our programs encourage
self-exploration and self-actualization using traditional
Jewish wisdom. The Jewish concepts that we focus on,
enhance personal, professional and social well-being. Many
participants become super intrigued because they never knew
that this wisdom exists in Judaism. Our target audience are
people ages 18-35 who are Jewish or seriously interested in
Judaism. We currently offer one-on-one meetings, discussions
on zoom, events and weekend retreats (Shabbatons). MAJOR
also directs people to Jewish trips and internships in Israel

The committee is commissioned by the Three Harbors
Council, Boy Scouts of America in Kenosha, Milwaukee and
Racine counties to promote scouting within the Milwaukee
Jewish community and to promote scouting under Jewish
auspices within the three county, council territory.
Scouting options include Cub Scouts,
Scouts BSA and Venturing.
Cub Scouts is for any youth in K5 through 5th grade and
its programming centers on Jewish holidays integrated
with Cub Scout themes and activities with an emphasis on
